Changing Times

Well, what a time to be living in, with particular reference to the past few months. Changing times for work, exercise and social; well really, just everyday life…

I don’t know about you, but the past week has been a stressful one. With ever growing concerns towards everyone and loved ones health, working prospects and general upside down community routine. Last week was a week I would gladly not relive. But one thing this last week has taught me was to stop. Be present. Breathe. Everything is going to be ok..

Ever heard of the saying – a glass can either be half full or half empty? Well, from this week onward, I am to be the glass half full type person. Air pollution is currently down, people are slowing down and spending more time with their families, those ‘later home renovations and projects’ are now being undertaken and home vegetable gardens have sky rocketed, to just name a few..

This post is by no means devaluing this horrible crisis the world is currently in, and this is a terrible event that we are within. But if we all stick to be caring, kind and listening to the health professionals we are directly impacting on society and community outcomes.

I think we are currently balancing in the middle of a see-saw, economy vs health with a side of environmental and social aspects lingering on the side, just waiting to see which way the see-saw will drop.

Finding correlations between these aspects I have found interesting.
